New face of Burberry.

I love Emma Watson as an actress and as a model, I think that she is stunning. It was a brave move to chop off all her gorgeous hair into a pixie crop. Good on her! I'd never have the courage to cut all my hair off, mainly because I'd look like a little boy if I did, but Emma works it really well and it also helps her break free from her role in the Harry Potter films as Hermione Granger. Replacing Miss Watson to model for Burberry will be the new face of Nina Porter. This model is only 16 years old and is set to be in front of photographer Mario Testino's lens for quite some time. She has made quite an impression on the modelling industry and is said to be the next Stella Tennant. I'm not so sure. Her look is interesting but I still prefer Emma Watson. Bring her back, that's what I say. Pixie crop and all!

Gaga's debut perfume.

It's becoming clear that all celebrities will release a fragrance at some point, and they sell well because of who they represent. To be honest, I have a few celebrity perfumes myself, and none of them are anything special. But Lady Gaga is not someone that I thought would follow in others footsteps and release a range of fragrances; her debut perfume is to be released by next year. In true Gaga style though, this will not just be another celebrity scent since she has ordered it to smell of "blood and semen". Now, I love Lady Gaga and I'm not at all suprised she has decided on something as outrageous as this but I can't help but think that it won't be flying off the shelves; it just sounds disgusting. I CERTAINLY don't want to smell of blood and semen. In fact, my stomach is turning slightly at the thought.

Versace Woman.

Versace Woman is described by The Perfume Shop as having notes of plum, raspberry and padparadscha lotus. Well, I don't know about that but I do know that it is absoloutly stunning. It was given to me as an early birthday present today, which I was really glad about since I seem to go through perfume really quickly. It certainly captures the sense of Versace style and is said to be "perfect for wearing to a night at the opera, a premiere, or even just for that romantic night in!" Hmmm, I don't go to opera's and I doubt I'll be at any premieres any time soon but hopefully with Valentines Day coming up, a romantic night in might be on the cards! But for me, this is certainly a fragrance I could wear every day. I love it.

Lush!

This has to be my yummiest purchase of today!
Bubblegum lip scrub from Lush. Its so tasty and my lips are officially silky soft!
Its basically just flavoured sugar so you rub it onto your lips to make them gorgeously smooth and lick it off. Mmmmm tasty! Or lush you might say...

The only bad thing is that I just want to eat it straight away instead of rubbing it on my lips! Leaves them feeling and tasting amazing though.

Lady Gaga remix for the Mugler fashion show.

 Watch this! Amazing.

Oooh Armani pants...

David Beckham is my ideal man. Without a doubt. We still have a picture of Golden Balls in his Armani pants up on our fridge at home! Wasn't so keen to see Cristiano Ronaldo in his Armani's though, he's a very good looking guy, but he just doesn't have the same appeal as Becks! His replacement though, tennis player Rafael Nadal could easily become a close second to Becks for me though. His picture will definately be getting put up on the fridge next to Mr Beckham! The adverts weren't meant to come out until February but lucky for us, they've been leaked on the internet already! Yum!

Nicki Minaj.

Like Lady Gaga, I love Nicki Minaj for her individual style and song lyrics! She is one of the few women that could wear an outfit like this with hair that looks like candyfloss and still look amazingly gorgeous. I'd love to be able to pull off something like this! Completely in love with her.

Birthday heels?

How much do I want these leopard print heels from Schuh? Lots and lots! Somebody buy them for me please because I'm a poor student? Thanks!

Gaga.

I love Lady Gaga; her style, music, and the way in which she performs. I think she's absoloutly amazing, but the thing I love most about her is her individuality. She came onto the music scene as someone who was totally different from all the other performers out there and quickly became a style icon, encouraging individual style in men and women worldwide. She loves to shock people, proven by the fact she wore a dress and head piece made out of raw meat at the MTV Video Music Awards last year...ok, that was pretty disgusting, but who's done that before? Nobody. Which is exactly my point.

So its a bit of an understatement to say that I'm excited about the release of "Born This Way" with her frequent collaborator RedOne. No doubt it will be amazing and another instant hit. Can't wait!

I love finding photos of my childhood. They're so funny! Here I am rocking a pair of knee-length red dungarees and a hairstyle which somewhat resembles a pineapple. All I can say is, thank god I don't have to rely on my Mum styling me anymore! I was a pretty cute little girl though, if I do say so myself! BABE!

I moustache you a question!

Just came across these beauties on Topshop's website! Definately keeping an eye out for them next time I'm in town. Amazing!

Do it like a dude!

Can't get this song out of my head today!!!
Lesson learned today?
Never buy tights from Primark.

They ripped within 5 minutes of having them on my legs. Absolute rubbish. From now on its granny tights from Marks and Spencer's!

I ♥ ASOS.

ASOS is without a doubt my favourite online fashion retailer. How cute is this?!

And apparently, ASOS are going to be launching a Facebook shop at the end of this month which will allow their followers to purchase from the entire product range without leaving Facebook. The company claims that they will be the first in Europe to open a store such as this one and personally, I can't wait!!!

James Franco Gucci Outtakes ♥

Haha! My friend Ailsa pointed this out to me! So funny. He might be a babe, but maybe a bit mentally challenged also? Still, I'm not complaining.

James Franco.

So I went through to Edinburgh for a girly day with Emily on Sunday and had such an amazing time. We stuffed our faces full of pizza and watched lots of films, including 127 hours....Oh. My. God. The film was so good, and I'd definately recommend it, even though it made me feel a bit queazy...it's slightly gruesome. But all that was made up for due to the fact they had the most gorgeous man ever playing the lead, James Franco. Absolute babe. I'd never heard of him before, which I don't really understand since I love to keep track of gorgeous famous men. So I just Google stalked him this morning and it turns out thats he's actually been in lots of things, AND he modelled for Gucci. I suppose that I shouldnt really be suprised though, the man is seriously handsome. Anyway, go and see the film and see for yourselves!!

Emily.

Don't you just hate it when one of your friends is absoloutely stunning and it makes you feel that you look like Quasimodo? Well, one of my best friends, Emily, is not only drop dead gorgeous, but she's also over 6 ft tall and a model. As you can imagine, I feel short, stumpy and positively hideous standing next to the girl...but I honestly love her to bits. And having a tall friend has its advantages when you're out in town; if I get lost I can always see Emily head and shoulders above everyone else, especially when wearing heels! Unfortunately, since she is a fashion student in Edinburgh, I don't really get to see her as often as I would like. But hopefully if we have to do any more fashion photography shoots at RGU, I'll be able to use Emily as a model. What a babe.

Geek chic photoshoot.

Just been going through all the random things I keep on my memory stick and I forgot that I had all the images from the photoshoot we had to do as part of our coursework this semester! Was so much fun doing the shoot since Stuart and Laura were the models and Stuart's boyfriend, Andrew, was the photographer. The theme of our photoshoot was Geek Chic and looking at them, they turned out pretty well! We had to edit them using Photoshop and Indesign software as part of our magazine contribution for Karen, but here's a few of the images pre-edit.

Fashion Week.

Ok, its London Fashion Week in February and I'm seriously jealous that I'm not going. The schedule is looking amazing, think my mouth might be watering a little. But, unfortunately, both me and Stuart were a bit strapped for cash when Karen, our course leader, gave us the opportunity to go. Proper gutted. It's not so bad though, because we are going to have our own Fashion Week. Yeah girls, we are THAT cool. SO each day of the week we are going to get our gladrags on and travel to different places around Aberdeen on the train, turn our "swag" on and mince around, whilst making stop ins at different pubs along the way...would be rude not to right? Who needs London eh? Well, actually that's a lie, because I DO. I WANT TO GO. This is seriously depressing, I'll be mincing around Inverurie with Stuart while the rest of the girls are eyeballing all the designer clothes in London. Roll on February...

New semester.

So I'm finished with my first semester of Stage 2 Fashion Management, thank god. It was SO much work, but I suppose it didnt help that I spent most of my time in Topshop spending my student loan instead of studying. Oops! Oh well, fresh start come the end of the month and the new modules for the course are looking FAB. Can't wait to get started. Until then though I've got a couple of weeks off, so that will be spent relaxing at home, seeing my gorgeous girlfriends, and of course, spending money I don't actually have! I can finally say hello to my social life again! Can't wait until I've graduated and I'm in my high flying job, living the lifestyle of the rich and famous!
